At the top of the web page you will see a banner from R2Hobbies. The red plane in the picture is known as “The Passer.” The video below is the Passer from a GoPro. The Passer is a great flying plane and for it to even fly so well with the weight of camera is even more remarkable. I had to use a smaller battery for the flight, but the footage still turned out great. There is a version sold by R2hobbies.com that has a engine known as the Passer X but the version in the video is a straight glider. Enjoy the video and visit R2Hobbies to check out all their planes.

Coaxial and the GoPro

Still going to take some work in order to get the camera shake removed and other issues. This morning I found out I could increase my throws quite a bit. Should have some serious control of the helicopter now. Also learned that you can adjust tail lock sensitivity so it will stop on a dime if I use the rudder. Have to play with that a bit too. Here is one attempt at using the gopro and a coaxial helicopter.

Built a mount for the Ion that would hold the GoPro. Unfortunately it is too bendable and shook a bit during flight, but still made for some interesting video.

The Passer

If you land on the carpet you walk a few feet and gloriously pick up your plane and throw it off again. If you don’t, you go on a walking journey of self discovery. Not saying that is what this picture represents, but this is where I landed. So, that is all I can say. Pictures are a thousand words, but after posting this, I assume two words might come to a particular persons mind. Which two words I am sure I will hear about.

Just a note that the Enigma is a glider with a engine that is used for about 2-3 second bursts. You will notice the engine is on when you hear that throaty sound. The laughing you hear is just pilot Euphoria.
